Ashley Larson is a visual artist based in Boise, Idaho, originally from a small mill town in southwestern Washington. She earned her Associate of Arts degree from Lower Columbia College and her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Central Washington University. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts as a candidate at Boise State University.

Larson is an interdisciplinary artist whose work invites viewers to confront the fleeting nature of memory and the relationship between identity and the spaces we inhabit.

Her current focus is on fiber art, as she has been engaged in a process of unraveling textiles. After unraveling the fabric to its core, she repurposes the removed threads to create something entirely new.
